The 1918 Building
Constructed during World War I, the 1918 Building served as a social gathering and dining space for troops throughout World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Newly renovated, this century old building located in the heart of Jefferson Barracks overlooks the historic parade ground and troop barracks. Restored to its original function as a social gathering and dining space, this venue is equipped with a beautiful open-floor plan featuring a caterer’s kitchen, high-definition sound system, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, including a 12-foot projector screen. The 1918 Building is located a few blocks from Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery providing an ideal venue to honor the legacy of our military.
The 1918 Building is operated by a not-for-profit organization who dedicates much of its funding to the preservation of historic buildings in Jefferson Barracks and in Missouri.
